Reagan 15 months old

Our lovely little Reagan is now 15 months old! Here she is with a mouth full of blueberries that we picked on Sauvie Island last week.

She had her well child check today and is weighing in at 20lbs 8oz, and 2ft 6.5 inches tall.

She is talking up a storm these days. She says quite a lot of words for such a little one but they would be hard to interpret for anyone but Craig or I. She says about 15 words and signs about the same amount (some are the same, some are different). Her two word phrases include, 'thank you,' 'bye da-da,' 'ni-nite ma-ma' and 'all done.' She 'reads' books, i.e. flips through pages and babbles. She is giving kisses and hugs and calls for us. I love it! Katya never really asked for me at this age. Reagan is constantly asking for mama or dada, especially when she gets upset. Just the last few days she is starting to say, "Mommy" instead of mama.

A tragically funny thing she does right now is she freaks out when Craig gets home. She gets so excited and yells, "Da-da!" but can't get to him fast enough and bursts into tears.

She loves pushing things around the house, either walking or on her knees. Her lion, chairs, dog bowls, laundry baskets, whatever! She is quite steady on her feet but not trying to walk yet. She is just starting to stand without support! She gets a big smile on her face when she lets go of what she was balancing on and stands on her own. She loves being silly! One of her latest things is kneeling, putting her arms up in the air and falling forward onto me. She thinks it is so funny!

Her schedule is one 2hr nap a day, down between 6-6:30pm and up at 7am. We give her a warm bottle upon waking and before bed. The rest of the day she can have water or limited cold milk in a sippy cup. I love these last days of infancy, still snuggling and feeding her a bottle. We really like not pushing her out of these last few 'baby' moments. It is so soothing for both her and us.

Here are a few more of my favorite pictures from Sauvie Island.

Discovering the blueberries in the box.

Shoving them down as fast as she can!
