New Arrivals!

They are here!  The much anticipated birth of our friends twin boys, whom I have been writing about the past few months.  I am happy to announce that Benjamin Daniel and Grayson Laurence arrived safe and sound via cesarean delivery today!  Little Benjamin, affectionately known as 'baby A,' was 3lbs 10oz and is doing quite well.  Grayson Laurence was 5lbs and is also doing fine.  Grayson's lungs were a bit under developed, somewhat unexpected since his brother was the one causing concern, but he is after all a preemie.  He required some steroid therapy to help develop his lungs and some supplemental oxygen.  Shannan is recovering fine, though she is really itchy from some of the medications give to her for the surgery; yuck!  They are truly gifts from God and an answer to prayers.  To think the doctors were giving Benjamin a predicted little to no chance of survival some 12 weeks ago.  Thank you so much to all who have been praying for them.  I will keep my readers updated on the twins progress.  Love, Brenda
